👤 The Creator

I'm Timothy, a developer who moved to Taipei and fell in love with the city. After years of exploring its hidden gems—from rooftop bars to mountain trails—I realized visitors and locals alike needed a simple way to discover great spots without endless scrolling through reviews.

Hei Bear started as a personal project to solve my own problem: planning activities that actually work, with places that feel real versus tourist traps. Friends started using it, then friends of friends—and here we are.

I update the app regularly with new places, seasonal events, and local recommendations. If you discover somewhere amazing that should be on the list, let me know.
